Madonna is dedicating her Super Bowl spectacular to her winemaker dad because she’s convinced the half-time show will be the most amazing thing she has ever done professionally in his eyes.
During a press conference in Indianapolis on Thursday, Madonna said, “I’m a hard-working girl that never stops (and) that’s because of him.
“I’m sure of all the things I’ve ever done in my life this will be the thing he’s most excited about.”

Nelson Fan Arrested Over Security Scare

An overzealous Willie Nelson fan was arrested prior to his gig in Florida on Wednesday night after she ran past security in a bid to greet the singer.
Officers then escorted the 45 year old outside of the security perimeter, but when Nelson stepped off his tour bus, Julian rushed towards the musician, reports TCPalm.com.
One security guard reportedly jumped a fence to intervene and she was held face down on the floor as Nelson entered the venue.
Julian then reportedly refused handcuffs and struggled, before police officers eventually took her to the nearby St. Lucie County Jail.
She is charged with resisting officers without violence and trespassing after warning, as well as possession of marijuana, and she is being held on $1,500 bail.

Lady Gaga Fumes Over Cruel Twitter Taunts

Lady Gaga has unleashed a scathing attack on a group of Twitter.com users for mocking a bullied gay fan who took his life last year.
The Bad Romance hitmaker was outraged by the craze and took to her own Twitter page to defend Rodemeyer.
She writes, “Tweets about a 14 yr olds suicide in order to take a jab at me? Consider your integrity making fun at a dead child’s pain.
“Direct your insults (at) Lady Gaga, I can take it. Don’t bring in those who are not alive anymore to defend themselves. Be braver than that.”
The singer launched a campaign to make bullying illegal after learning that New York native Rodemeyer had committed suicide to escape his tormentors last September.

Kardashian Claims Self-defense Over Fight Lawsuit

Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian insists she acted in “self-defense” when she became embroiled in a scuffle with a woman in Los Angeles in 2009.
Kardashian has now filed a response to the lawsuit at Los Angeles County Superior Court, according to TMZ.com, claiming she was provoked into becoming physical with Spears and that her actions were “reasonably necessary for her self-defense and safety”.
The dispute reportedly started after Spears told Kardashian’s basketball player partner Lamar Odom he was “too young to be married”.
Spears is seeking unspecified damages.

Gervais In Tears Over Bear’s Death

Funnyman Ricky Gervais broke down in tears on Friday after learning about the death of his sponsored rescue bear.
However, the beast passed away recently, and Gervais has been left devastated after hearing of the tragedy.
In a post on his Twitter.com page, he writes, “Woke up to the news that my beautiful rescue bear Stan has died. At least he experienced 2 years of freedom and love.”
Gervais was bombarded with well wishes from fans, and he later added, “All your kind messages made my cry. Thank you RIP Stan the bear.”

Grant Still Signed Up For More Jones

Movie bosses have assured fans Hugh Grant is still on board for the third Bridget Jones movie, despite recent reports he had bowed out.
But Working Title chairman Tim Bevan is adamant Grant will be in the cast, insisting, “Reports that Hugh Grant has exited Bridget Jones’s Baby are untrue.”
Bevan also admits production has been delayed as writers continue to develop the script.
He explains, “We are still working on the script, hence the delay to the start of production, but the film is going ahead as planned.”
Renee Zellweger is to reprise the title role as the hapless singleton in the upcoming romantic comedy.

Madonna Debuts Super Bowl-themed Video

Madonna has channelled the upcoming Super Bowl in her new video – she cavorts with footballers and cheerleaders in the promo for Give Me All Your Luvin’.
Give Me All Your Luvin’, which Madonna unveiled on Friday, begins with a whistle and sports fans’ applause as well as the written message, “Fans can make you famous, a contract can make you rich, the press can make you a superstar, but only luv can make you a player.”
Guest rappers Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., dressed as cheerleaders on a suburban street, then chant: “L-U-V Madonna, Y-O-U you wanna” – before the pop superstar makes her entrance pushing a stroller.
Several footballers then appear and help make life easy for the star by protecting her from rain and carrying her across the street.
Madonna also courts controversy in the video – injecting shock value by showing a glimpse of her leopard-print bra, pretending to breastfeed a baby doll and dodging bullets fired by would-be assassins.
Minaj and M.I.A. then show off their rap skills, before the promo ends with all three stars exposing the footballers as robots.

Spencer Pratt Apology to Lauren Conrad Goes Ignored on Twitter

Spencer Pratt tried to make amends with Lauren Conrad on her 26th birthday via Twitter Wednesday, but the fashion designer and former Hills star isn’t listening.
“Lauren has moved past all the drama,” a source close to LC says. “She’s focusing on her career and barely has time to interact with the people she actually likes.”
“Why would she want to back in touch with Spencer Pratt?”
A fair point. Why would anyone really?
The source close to Conrad adds that “in this case, like others, she’s going to continue to do what works best with Spencer and that’s obviously to ignore him.”
The world has apparently followed suit in the past year and a half.
Pratt, meanwhile, is broke and living at home, but says he doesn’t “have a hatchet to bury” with his former co-star, who he frequently butted heads with.
“We had our differences, but the fact is that Lauren was a part of our lives, both personally and professionally,” Spencer Pratt tells Us, as if anyone cares.
“After all this time, what point would there be in being angry? All I wanted to do was wish her nothing but the best in everything she does.”
Sadly, that totally heartfelt sentiment fell upon a deaf Twitter account.

Ron Paul: "Zero Chance" of Dropping Out of Presidential Race

Campaigning in Nevada in advance of tomorrow’s Republican presidential caucus, Ron Paul talked to CNN’s Joe Johns about his prospects in the Silver State and beyond.
Paul said the caucus format works to his advantage because it rewards organization and enthusiasm, rather than strictly money, which gives Mitt Romney a huge edge.
The Texas Congressman, whose financial situation is still better than most, lamented that his resources limited any chance against Romney in a big state like Florida.
How well he’ll do in Nevada remains to be seen, but Paul says he will continue his goal of accumulating delegates and that there is “zero chance” of him dropping out.
