Real Housewives’ Taylor And Russell NOT Separating!

We’re happy to hear that they’re trying to make it work!
Despite reports yesterday that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills castmember Taylor Armstrong and her husband, Russell, were getting separated, the reality star’s representative has come forward to reveal that this is not the case!
A source elaborates:
“Yes, their relationship is not without trouble. But they’re still together. They’ve gone through therapy and they have issues within their marriage that they’re actively working on, but they’re both really committed to making their marriage work. They love each other and want to be there for their daughter. It has nothing to do with financial issues. Their issues are personal and they’re actively working on solving them.”
Wonderful! We’re happy to hear that they’re not throwing in the towel!
You can definitely tell from the show that they have some issues communicating, but hopefully therapy and their commitment will help ease some of the tension that stems from that!

Amber Rose Calls New BF Wiz Khalifa An "Upgrade" From Kanye West!

Ouch! We imagine that he is NOT going to take too kindly to these comments!
Amber Rose caused quite the scandal when she started dating rapper Wiz Khalifa after a much-publicized romance – and subsequent break-up – with Kanye West, and she recently revealed that she thinks that her new man is one hell of an upgrade from her last!
She explains:
“I chilled with him for two weeks. We didn’t kiss or nothing. Then he left for Pittsburgh and when he left I was so lost without him. He’s a grown man about his business, and a positive person who always has a smile on his face. There’s no comparison in personalities. You know when people say, ‘How do you go from Kanye to Wiz Khalifa, that’s a downgrade.’ But the only question I can ask them is: Have you ever dated Kanye? Because I have, and believe me, I did not downgrade at all. Not in any aspect, at all.”
We’re glad to hear that she’s moved on and that she’s happy, but are those last comments really necessary?
Not that we find some of his behavior acceptable, but seriously! Let’s not try and set him off, okay?!
It always becomes so much of a headache! LOLz!

Alec Baldwin Showed Up At The Rock Of Ages Run-Through After All!

So…what does this mean???
Yesterday, we reported that Alec Baldwin called in to the heads of New Line this week to request that he be replaced on the film Rock Of Ages. The only explanation we got as to “why” was that he was suffering from medical condition that he thought would prevent him from performing in such a rigorous production.
However, this morning the entire cast gathered in Miami to have an official first run-through for the film and apparently, Alec was on hand. Sources are reporting that director Adam Shankman implored him to make the trip, just so he could see that kind of production he would be missing out on if her dropped out. The cast, which includes Tom Cruise, Russell Brand, Mary J. Blige, Paul Giamatti and Julianne Hough (Catherine Zeta-Jones was absent but only because she is off shooting another movie) all tried on costumes and belted out the show’s score for the first time as a collective group.
Umph! Let’s hope Tommy has really perfected his solo on Renegade. If its off, that sure as hell would send us running for the hills!
Hopefully, Alec will make a decision by the end of today and we’ll know for sure what his deal is. Considering that the movie is set to start production in two weeks, he’s really leaving them in the lurch by cutting out now, but if he can’t handle it it physically, then he shouldn’t push himself.

Angelina And Kung Fu Cast Have Bizarre Press Conference At Cannes

The press conference was for Kung Fu Panda 2, which, if you can’t tell from the title and live in a hole, is an animated children’s film. She’s plays the Tigress.
The first movie was well-reviewed, and widely known.
However, the press conference at Cannes resulted in some weird questions that had nothing to do with the movie. Especially for Jolie:
Jolie, who voices Tigress in the computer animated ‘Kung Fu Panda 2′ and its predecessor, was grilled about “Jolie’s children, Jolie’s motherhood, Jolie playing tough women, Jolie playing a tigress, Jolie’s great popularity in China, what Jolie thinks about bin Laden.”
Being taken aback by being asked about bin Laden at the press conference of a kid’s movie, Jolie said:
“I’m here in the context of ‘Kung Fu Panda’; I’d rather not get into such a heavy issue.”
Which is DEF the right thing to say! We’re so glad she didn’t take the bait and talk about it at all, because the movie is just innocent fun. That question had no right to be there!
Not only that, though, but her co-stars Jack Black and Dustin Hoffman got some weirdo questions too:
Another reporter asked Jolie, Black and Hoffman how they felt about ‘Kung Fu Panda’ series creating some of their most memorable roles after such distinguished careers.
“Well,” said Dustin Hoffman, laughing at the blunt question, “I think it’s a fitting end to a long, distinguished career. If, you know, if I was never aware of irony before, I am now.”
The stars were also quizzed about how they find inner peace. Hoffman’s reply? “I’ve never been so at peace as I am at this moment, being this famous, in front of all these cameras, and sitting next to Angelina.”
Hoffman has always been known for giving witty, charming, and playful interviews. We’re glad he took the unusual questions in stride!
Regardless of the weirdness, it doesn’t change the fact that we’re excited to see the movie guys! You handled that conference really well!

Who Are Oprah’s First Two Series Finale Guests?

The American public has been anxiously awaiting the announcement of whom the Big O will be hosting as her guests on the upcoming, much-anticipated series finale of The Oprah Winfrey Show, and the first two have just been revealed to be…Will Smith and wife Jada Pinkett!
The pair are pretty much known to be two of the talk show queen’s favorite guests, so we’re not too surprised that they’ll be there to say good-bye on May 25th, but we were kind of anticipating a little more of a spectacle!
However, we have a feeling that gurlfriend has some tricks and surprises still up her sleeve, so we’re not too concerned!

George Michael Feels Like He Has Let Gay Kids Down

If you truly feel that way, George Michael, then you definitely came to the conclusion soon enough that you’ll now be able to be a positive influence — and to help a lot of gay youth from now on!
He’s been gearing up for a massive new tour, regardless if he had a “farewell” tour a few years ago, because he feels he was meant to sing. Not only that, but he’ll be using it as a way to help those he feels he has let down through his actions:
‘I have a serious problem with the fact that every time I made a mistake and everytime I let myself down that I was letting young gay kids down. Because they would then witness the homophobia that was thrown me and the language that we use in this country.
I like to think that life is a balance whenever there is something bad, there is something good you can do with it. I have some plans to do things to help gay children. I think we are notoriously bad as a community at helping our own when it comes to children, because we don’t have our own children.
There are things I want to do with my next album to make up for the damage that I have inadvertently caused by making myself so newsworthy and putting myself on the back foot enough that I couldn’t defend gay children from some of that language.’
That’s so great, GM! We’re so happy and inspired that you would take charge of how you’re going to handle and help out the gay community!
It’s never too late, guys, to change if you have major moral issues with yourself! You’ll always have the support you need and deserve!

Miranda Lambert & Blake Shelton Are Getting Hitched This Weekend!

And there’s still so much to do! The flowers need to be checked on. The schedule needs to be finalized. They need to run to WalMart for a few things!
Yeah, no, that’s not a joke!
This weekend, country superstar Miranda Lambert will finally be getting hitched to her Voice coach and fellow country singer Blake Shelton. At the moment, the pair are running some last minute errands before the big day, and for Miranda, that means getting her nails did, running to WalMart…and packing up the deer cutlets!
Oh yeah! That’s their main course at the reception! Last fall, Miranda revealed that she and Blake decided to serve venison at the wedding, harvested by…themselves!
Um, ew, but okay. It certainly brings a more, um, personal touch to the menu! You know what, you can just go ahead and skip sending us the pictures from the reception, ‘kay?!

Christina Applegate Is Coming To NBC! Up All Night Picked Up!

We didn’t have too many concerns that this wouldn’t get picked up, but we’re still super excited!
Christina Applegate, Will Arnett, and Maya Rudolph will soon be joining the NBC family in a full-time capacity, as their new comedy pilot, now titled Up All Night, has been picked up for the 2011-12 season by NBC!
As we’ve reported, the series will focus on a Applegate as a working mother trying to cope with family pressures, as well as a stay-at-home husband (Will Arnett), and will be joined by the freshly picked-up musical comedy Smash, the British remake Prime Suspect, and Whitney Cummings‘ comedy pilot Whitney!
Excellent! Here’s hoping the two comedies end up on the Thursday night line-up, right where they belong!

Chelsea Handler ‘Won’t Apologize’ To Angelina Jolie For Homewrecker Joke

While appearing on the Joy Behar Show, Chelsea Handler has made it clear she has no intention of apologizing to Angelina Jolie for calling her a “homewrecker” and a “C” word last December.
In fact, Chelsea believes the media blew it out of proportion because she’s been making jokes about Angelina (and A LOT of other celebrities) for years.
