We’ve always known that Colin Farrell is on fire, but hot damn! Literally!
Check out another slew of promotional images (above and below) from the upcoming revamp of the ’80s classic, Fright Night, which stars Anton Yelchin as a teenager who realizes that his mysterious next-door neighbor (Farrell) who has begun courting his mother, played by Toni Collette, may very well be a vampire!
Looks pretty intense! And by the looks of it, we imagine Toni’s character figures out pretty early on that her new man wants to eat her!
LOLz!
What do U think?? Will U be checking out Fright Night??

And if House is checked out of House, then there’s really no point to having House, right? (Did you follow that?)
The cast of House got exciting news this week when FOX revealed they were renewing the show for its eight season. While the renewal is something to celebrate, it also begs the question if this might be the show’s final season. For one thing, it got its pick-up fairly late in the game – never a good sign.
But also, star Hugh Laurie isn’t really convinced the show had a season nine in it – or him. When asked about the show’s future, he replied:
“The end of that [eighth] season looks like the end of the show. That’s as far as they’ve got me for.”
We think that’s pretty fair. Eight seasons is a really good run and we know Hugh has other aspirations to attend to, like his music and his family back in England. Besides, perhaps the writers will find a way to wrap it up perfectly with an end in sight.

You can like the Situation or not, but we definitely feel like his dad is out of line here. He’s your SON. Love him as such instead of resorting to such petty practices.
Watch the video above that we posted earlier if you haven’t yet.
Sadly, all this stuff is definitely hurting Mike (The Situation), as he says he is:
“extremely saddened by his estranged father’s actions.”
Here’s what his reps had to say:
Frank “has unfortunately decided to go public to garner himself media attention. The Sorrentino family — Marc, Frank, Jr., Melissa, and their mother Linda — remain united with Mike under these hurtful circumstances.”
Like we said, Frank, this isn’t appropriate at all for a father to do to his son, estranged or not. There’s no need for revenge, just go your separate ways!
Or, even better, cut it all out and find a way to reconcile!
Mike, keep your chin up! Enjoy Europe!

Two more weeks. Two more weeks and then, season two of Glee will be over.
But they are going out with one hell of a BANG!
The Hollywood Reporter has an EXTENSIVE look at the season finale of Glee in this week’s issue. From new pictures from set to a breakdown of the episode’s cost ($6 million!!!), the article reads like a Gleek’s dream journal into the production of the episode.
We’ve got all the pictures from the article for you in the gallery (below) and make sure you check them out – especially the two pics of Lea Michele and Chris Colfer at the Gershwin Theater, performing on the same stage that years ago, Idina Menzel and Kristin Chenoweth premiered Wicked on.
And here for your Gleeky pleasure are just a few of the HIGHlights and SPOILERS from the article:
- New York, New York/I Love New York mashup CONFIRMED. Get stoked!
- The song Chris and Lea are singing in the Gershwin? For Good from Wicked! Lea explains: “We feel like we’re Elphaba and Glinda. Chris likes to be called Guylinda, though”
- In one scene, Heather Morris is holding a bunch of balloons and creator Ryan Murphy wants to have her let them free at the end of the scene. The scene is cut because of “littering fines.”
- Fans crowding the streets during shooting ranged from 10 to over 200, the latter being in during the Time Square.
- Finn, Rachel, Puck and Lauren will all have a scene at Todd English’s Ça Va Brasserie. Two of them will try to order Manhattans. Guess which two?
- Ryan Murphy on securing Patti Lupone for the finale: “I wouldn’t take no for an answer. Obviously, we talk about her very reverentially, and she agreed to do it because she loves the arts and the show. Patti LuPone is New York to me.”
- Patti actually improvised some of her own lines that may or may not make it into the final cut
- While shooting at Sardis, Lea Michele ALMOST had her portrait done. A waitress had conferred with a manager, but Lea left before anything could be done about it.
Do we even have to say it? Fine then, we shall:
AAAAAAH-MAZING!
We want it to be May 24th right now – but then again we don’t because then the season will be over and we’ll have to wait all summer for a new episode!
So fun/sad/exciting/sad all at the same time!!!
What do U think fellow Gleekers? So far, does the finale sound like the dream we all want it to be?

You can’t win them all!
Hayden Christensen and his brother Tove filed a lawsuit against the television network USA for allegedly ripping off their their proposal for a TV series about a doctor who makes housecalls to the rich and famous.
Sound familiar?
The brothers said that they pitched an idea for a comedic-drama about a “concierge” doctor show called Housecall in 2005.
Although execs found the idea “fascinating”, they passed, but their lawsuit claims they developed their own version Royal Pains instead.
While we can see Hayden and Toves reasoning for filing suit, a federal judge said their breach-of-contract claims were trumped by federal law “concerning materials that are not copyrightable, such as ideas.”
Sorry fellas! It doesn’t sound like they are giving up hope though, because their lawyer said:
“We are disappointed with the ruling and hope to have it reversed on appeal.”
Good luck!

Sneaky, sneaky, Mother Monster!
Earlier this week, during Google’s I/O conference, the company unveiled their answer to iTunes, called Google Music Beta, “a cloud-based music service that enables users to store songs in a digital locker and stream them to any Android device,” including phones, tablets, laptops and desktops! Furthermore, the company has already acquired the music startup PushLife, which enables users to move their iTunes music libraries to Android devices, and are planning to offer users storage for up to 20,000 songs for free!
Additionally, “users who sign up for the locker service will get free music, similar to how some MP3 players ship with sample tracks.”
And although they’ve yet to make any deals with music labels, we’re thinking that they may have secured a partner whose (in the immortal words of Kelis) milkshake will surely bring all the boys to the yard – in Miz Lady GaGa!
The pop star is rumored to have spent several hours shooting a commercial for Google in NYC last weekend, and given her latest innovative means for downloading the upcoming Born This Way early (Farmville?!), we imagine that THIS may be her latest platform to cross-promote her music!
Sounds pretty cool, right?
We sure hope so! Some of the other projects announced during past Google I/O conferences – Google Wave, Google Friend Connect, and Google Chrome App Store, anyone? – have had LESS than stellar success, so maybe a little GaGa-fication is exactly what they need!
What do U think?? Are U interested in Google Music Beta?

Is this a joke? Are you making a big GOOPY joke, Miz Gwyneth Paltrow? Or do fancy a trip down a rainbow colored hallucination after an afternoon of antiquing and knitting wine jackets for your extensive collection of Merlots?
Today’s topic on GOOP.com is … horticulture. Gwyneth wanted to bring her readers on an intimate tour of her rooftop garden at her penthouse apartment in New York City to prove that she indeed has a green thumb, just like all the little people. She posted a few pictures of her garden and raved about how many different herbs she has cultivating just steps away from her kitchen.
Let’s see. She’s got some chives, some kale, mint, parsley…wait, what’s that one next to the mint? Is that, could that be…SALVIA!
It is! That bushy little green shrub is indeed salvia!
Is this real life? Are you serious, Miz Paltrow? Are you trying to tell us that every once and awhile, you like to get down with your Miley Cyrus alter-ego and escape the realms of this world into one where everyone looks like Liam Hemsworth and Frosted Flakes are the only thing worth eating for 20 minutes??? Really??? We never would’ve guessed!!!
Wonder if she is aware that currently, there is a ban just seconds from being passed that would make this little herb illegal in New York state? Might be a good thing to keep in mind, hun!
P.S. – Girl, maybe the next time you’re at home sipping your salvia laced lentil soup and herbal tea, you might want to think about redesigning the GOOP site! It’s looking a bit ZzzzzZzzz!!!

Although the play got off to a rough start, Chris Rock‘s broadway debut, Motherf**ker With A Hat, is extending its run through July 17.
The show was originally scheduled to close on June 25, but has since garnered six Tony Award nominations, including one for Best Play!
Congrats!
This show has had as much drama off stage as on, considering it was almost closed before it began with very little audience demand, but luckily for Chris his first play on Broadway is a success!
Good luck at the Tony’s!

Sean Hannity is up in arms over Michelle Obama inviting rapper Common to come to the White House for an evening celebrating poetry on Wednesday.
On Tuesday during his show, the Fox News personality criticized the First Lady’s decision because he believes that the White House is setting a bad example by allowing a “controversial” rapper to…come inside? Ha!
He’s not alone either!
On Tuesday, Sarah Palin tweeted:
So WHAT’S the big deal?
Common spit out an anti-Bush verse while performing a poem at a 2007 Def Poetry event.
Oh, the horror! What poet DIDN’T spit out an anti-Bush verse in 2007? LOLz!
We believe it’s called, wait, what’s that expression? It’s on the tip of our tongue. It’s so close! It’s — oh yeah — FREEDOM OF SPEECH!
If you’d like to see Hannity ATTEMPT to read the poem in question, then proceed to yell over the commentator ATTEMPTING to offer a different point of view (and educated), check out the video above.
Are U upset that Common is appearing at the White House poetry event or is Fox News and their conservative cohorts blowing this WAY out of proportion?
