For several months now, Shenae Grimes has been quietly dating James Franco’s younger brother, Dave Franco. The two were getting on rather nicely, but have recently broken up as Shenae didn’t feel like Dave was invested in the relationship as much as she was.
According to US Weekly, Shenae realized he wasn’t “The One” for her when she traveled to Japan and got caught in a devastating earthquake. After all was said and done, she check her phone for messages and emails – and there were none from Dave! An insider explains further:
“She wants to be with someone who cares about her as much as she does him. Dave wasn’t that person.”
Sounds about right to us!

Bono Speaks Up On Why First Version Of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark Failed

During a recent interview, U2′s Bono opened up about the failure of the first version of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, and he had some inneresting points to make about it:
“What was great about Turn Off the Dark 1.0 was unusual and rare: magic, a pop-up Pop-Art opera with a bit of rock ’n’ roll circus thrown in. What was not right about it was a catalog of commonplace problems — story knots, bad sound and finally a failure to cohere, meaning that the whole was not greater than the sum of the parts, as wonderful as some of those parts were.”
“In Turn Off the Dark 2.0, the myth of Arachne does not overpower the reason people are there…to discover what makes Peter Parker a superhero, which in the end turns out not to be his spider senses, but his personal integrity and especially his humility — something I hope all of us in this process have learned from.”
Def sounds like they may have gotten it right this time! Assuming nobody else gets hurt, they’ve got our support!

David Guetta Reveals Big Time Drama Surrounding Where Them Girls At Release!

Holy shiz! We had no idea there was so much DRAMA surrounding the release of this song!
David Guetta is currently KILLING the charts with his latest single, Where Them Girls At, which also features Flo Rida and Nicki Minaj, but the French DJ had a lot to be stressed out about during its initial release, because he was forced to drop it with no promotion early after an unfinished version was leaked early!
He explains:
“Some hackers stole an a capella [version] of ‘Where Them Girls At.’ And I was really not ready, because I made a remix for Snoop and we released that record together, the ‘Sweat,’ record. I was not supposed to release the record so soon, and I was thinking of maybe using the Taio [Cruz] record as a first single. [Hackers] stole the a capella and someone produced some music around it and put my name on it and put it on the Net. So it was horrible, I really didn’t like the music. People thought it was me. To put out music that is not even finished, this is really disrespectful to the music. I was really mad. I started to ask people that really do security when it comes to computers, you know, specialists. So we hired this guy who’s been working for the Pentagon, for security. So this is serious. I had to react to this by releasing the record without any promotion. Without a video, without anything. And what is really incredible and crazy is that the record is #1 on iTunes in every country in the world. It’s #3 in the U.S. right now [last week]. So it’s absolutely unbelievable.”
Luckily, both of his guest stars on the song were more than enthusiastic about the material!
He continues:
“The first time you’re in the studio with someone, it’s sometimes difficult. She [Nicki] was being a little shy or reserved, you know. And then I played that record and she started to jump from her chair and scream. And she was like, ‘Wow, I love this!’ It was an amazing start working together because I really wanted to work some more with her. I’m a really huge fan. To be honest, it’s very rare that I call artists — most of the time they call me. I’ve been chasing her for like a year because I really wanted to work with her. When I played the song with Nicki, after I had her vocals, when I played it for Flo, he was going crazy! He was so happy. He was really excited about it!”
Goodness! This truly is the little jam that could!
We’re so thrilled that, given the circumstances, it turned out to be as successful as it was!
Which we think is really saying something about Guetta, seeing as he managed to drop this when all the odds were against him!

Dion From Clueless Pulls Fit On Set Of Show

Stacey Dash flipped out on the set of the new Queen Latifah-produced show Single Ladies at 2:30am Tuesday morning!
Apparently she stormed off the set yelling and ranting, saying:
“No, I ain’t coming back unless that bitch gets her ass kicked!”
Which is, we don’t really have to tell you, pretty much the classiest thing to say on the job.
Here’s what went down, according to a source:
The 45-year-old ex-Clueless star was referring to one of the show’s other stars, LisaRaye McCoy. The source adds that everyone on set was stunned, because McCoy, 44, apparently did nothing to provoke this behavior.
“It was an intimate dinner party scene so everyone was in cocktail dresses. Stacey was screaming and running around in thousand dollar Louboutins!”
Wow, what the heck is going on, Stacey?? What happened that you’d have to throw a tantrum like this??
Not cool at all, in our book. An apology would be nice, because you were hired to do a job. Part of that deal probably wasn’t to have you acting like a vulgar child at all hours!

Forget Cowboys! Dinosaurs Vs. Aliens Is Next!

Finally! Hollywood’s releasing a historical picture! LOLz.
Men In Black III director Barry Sonnenfeld has made what is pretty much the most epic announcement of all time – he’s getting ready to put together Dinosaurs Vs. Aliens!
The full title of Sonnenfeld’s upcoming project is Dominion: Dinosaurs Versus Aliens, and he’ll be working alongside comic book writer Grant Morrison to develop this epic tale as a graphic novel AND feature film, which will hopefully be in IMAX and 3D.
Here’s what Sonnenfeld had to say about his dinosaur/alien filmmaking aspirations:
“Growing up, my fascination was all things dinosaur, and as an adult, I’ve had some success making films about aliens, so this is a dream come true.”
The story will revolve around a “secret prehistoric world war battle,” in which “an alien invasion attacks Earth in the age of the dinosaurs” and “the planet’s only hope is the giants that roam the planet with, it turns out, a lot more intelligence than previously realized.”
Words cannot properly express how exciting and important this project is. Finally, the untold tale of the dinosaur struggle for survival against aliens can be told…and MAYBE this film will provide us with new insight on how the dinos TRULY went extinct! Ha!

Real Housewives Of Orange County’s Slade Owes Lots Of Backed Child Support!

Although one may think that Slade Smiley is a professional dater of The Real Housewives of Orange County, he still doesn’t have a legitimate job, and according to court documents, owes $138,857.64 in unpaid child support to his son, Grayson, who is suffering from brain cancer and has serious medical bills piling up!
He’s currently attempting to have his monthly child support payments reduced from $3500 a month, and even though he told his mother on Sunday night’s show that he found work, the legal documents assert:
“It appears he is currently living with his girlfriend. The evidence shows that…in 2010 he earned $5,000 for participation in another television program. (Smiley) testified regarding his various unsuccessful efforts to find work in the title insurance/real estate industry. He also testified regarding his various Facebook and Twitter entries showing his attendance at various public and social events. He essentially describes these activities as networking with the purpose of securing employment in the entertainment field.”
In response, a judge has ruled that Smiley try “to expand his efforts beyond entertainment and title insurance/real estate, and to document his efforts by keeping a detailed log.” He also must contact at least five potential employers every two weeks.
Sounds fair to us!
Time’s have certainly been tough, so we sympathize, but we’d say it’s time to start pounding the pavement for work, just like everyone else!

Rod Stewart Headlining Vegas Show At Ceasars Palace

For any Rod Stewart fans who haven’t been to Las Vegas yet, the iconic musician is giving you another reason to make the trip.
Starting August 24th, he’ll begin a two-year residency at Ceasars Palace’s Colosseum where he’ll be performing Rod Stewart: The Hits. In a recent interview, he shared his excitement for the nightly show, saying:
“This is something I’ve always wanted to do. Vegas may have had a cheesy air, but I’ve always loved it. I like to call Caesars Palace ‘Caesar salad.’ “
Considering Rod just had a baby boy with his wife, Penny Lancaster, it is still close enough to his El Lay home to spend more time with them, while still making money, as he explained:
“I get to fly in, do a great 90-minute show, and get home. It’s a tremendous way to make a shilling.”

Hugh Jackman, New and Improved!

It turns out Real Steel is more than just Hugh Jackman HAWTness and Rock’EM Sock’EM Robots after all!
The newest trailer for the boxing action-drama pulls on the heart strings a little bit too!
The plot revolves around a former boxer who now fights robots to make a living, but is losing…badly.
Things turn around when his son discovers a trashed bot in a junkyard, which Jackman salvages and begins training for his return to the ring, bringing him closer to paying off his gambling debt, as well as his son.
As long as Hugh Jackman has to take his shirt off at some point for some reason, any reason at all, WE’RE IN! Ha!
