Chezza Taking A Ski Vacay With Derek Hough?

Um, we doubt this, but you never know.
Sources are reporting that Cheryl Cole is planning to take a romantic skiing getaway with Derek Hough in the Rockies.
Supposedly, Derek has already booked a private villa in a luxury hotel resort for them, in attempt to make up for lost time not spent together over Christmas. An insider close to the pair shares:
“Derek wanted to be with Cheryl on Christmas Day and he was gutted and heartbroken she wasn’t able to make it. So sharing a call on Skype was the next best thing. Derek is just really looking forward to their holiday now…He’s booked an amazing hotel where they will have lots of privacy and some time to relax. Derek is excellent on the slopes and he can’t wait to teach Cheryl a few moves.”
Sounds rather implausible romantic.
Here’s a crazy question, though – when exactly do they have time for this with X Factor and Dancing With The Stars gearing up for new seasons, hmm?

Xtina Ringing In The New Year With Belated Birthday Bash

We’re pretty sure we recall her having a lovely birthday celebration in the arms of a handsome gentlemen in the French Alps, but far be it from us to stop the girl from throwing a slammin’ bash in her honor!
Sources are reporting that Christina Aguilera is planning a belated 30th birthday party on New Year’s Eve for herself. Apparently, promoting Burlesque just got in the way of her really enjoying the milestone birthday, so now she’s planning on doing it up right. Xtina seems pretty excited about the idea, explaining:
“My actual birthday was in December and I turned 30! It was a big one – the next chapter of my life. I’m a Sagittarius. But, because I was working so much on the movie, I postponed my birthday party, so New Year’s Eve is my big 30th birthday party.”
Fun!
This might actually be the best way for Xtina to start off a New Year – doing something to reward herself.

Sources are reporting that Jay-Z has booked 50 rooms at the opening of the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas this New Year’s Eve. The rapper wanted to make sure that all of his peeps were going to be around him and well taken care of for his big New Year’s Eve concert alongside Coldplay.
Though the hotel managers had to rearrange a lot of accommodations for other guests, we’re told Jay made it all happen and everything’s set for the big night.
We’re also told he won’t be the only celeb in attendance. Other big names slated to be ringing in the new year at the new hotel are Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Alex Rodriguez, Mark Wahlberg, Kristin Davis, Ellen Pompeo and Kellan Lutz.
Sounds like it’s the place to be tomorrow night!

Teena Marie’s Autopsy Reveals No Signs Of Trauma

Could she have simply died of natural causes? At 54-years-old?
According to a statement by police, Teena Marie’s death appeared to be from natural causes, which MAY in fact be the case, now that we’ve learned that her autopsy revealed no signs of trauma.
We also learned earlier this week that no illegal drugs were found in her home.
Guess we’ll have to wait until the toxicology reports are released to learn more.
Our thoughts continue to go out to Teena Marie’s family and friends.

On Wednesday, Billy Boyd officially became someone’s hubby as he married his girlfriend, Ali McKinnon, in Glasgow.
As you can see, standing dutifully by him on his big day were his Lord of the Rings co-stars, Elijah Wood and Dominic Monaghan.

The wife of the late Rodney Dangerfield has fallen in love with 93-year-old billionaire, Kirk Kerkorian, according to her friends.
Joan Dangerfield, 58, met the businessman on a blind date two years ago and friends say that the two are now an item after they were spotted arm-in-arm at Larry King‘s CNN farewell party earlier this month.
“It’s really love between them. Joan gushes about Kirk as if they were teenagers… we’re waiting for the wedding announcement,” says a friend, adding, “Joan was lonely after Rodney died, and she just hit it off with Kirk.”
As long as she’s happy. Get it, honey.
