Riiiiiiight.
Due to the complications stemming from the troubled Broadway production of Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark, director Julie Taymor has canceled an upcoming speaking engagement at a New York Times event in which she was to be interviewed by staffer Patrick Healy!
According to a press representative:
“With the changes to the Spider-Man production schedule, Julie will be deep in rehearsals and will not be available to participate.”
Somehow, we think there’s a little more to it than that!
Thoughts??

Say what?!
According to reports, the Happiest Place On Earth is leaving more than few mouseketeers a little less than pleased this morning. Sources are reporting that guests attempting to get into Disneyland the last two days have been turned away and redirected to California Adventure. Apparently, the park has been reaching capacity almost immediately after opening.
In fact, this morning, BOTH parks were reportedly filled to the brim with peeps!
Crowds are to be expected on holiday weeks, but this is just CRAZY! Poor kiddies denied their rides on the teacups! Boo!

Okay, so maybe things didn’t go so well when George Clooney tried to play a hero in Batman & Robin, but now it looks like he’s getting a second chance in real life.
Yesterday, a group founded by George Clooney announced that it’s teaming up with Google, a U.N. agency, and anti-genocide organizations to launch “satellite surveillance of the border between north and south Sudan to try to prevent a new civil war after the south votes in a secession referendum next month.”
Here’s what Clooney had to say about it:
“We want to let potential perpetrators of genocide and other war crimes know that we’re watching, the world is watching. War criminals thrive in the dark. It’s a lot harder to commit mass atrocities in the glare of the media spotlight.”
We wish U the best of luck with your peacekeeping efforts, George!

Good lord, he truly is the total package, isn’t he?!
Check out the incredibly SEKSI – and apparently multi-talented – Matt Boner Bomer performing the classic song It Only Takes A Moment from Hello, Dolly with Kelli O’Hara, as part of a tribute to composer Jerry Herman at the Kennedy Center Honors (above)!
Swoon just doesn’t even do him justice anymore!
It’s more like MELT! And lick!

Can you stand it?! They are sooo adorable!
We’ve just received this FIRST LOOK of Neil Patrick Harris and his beautiful twin babies for this week’s People Magazine.
Neil and his partner David Burtka look like the most perfect, doting fathers we’ve ever seen! We’re just so overcome with joy for all four of them! So much love!
Alright, but which one is holding which baby? Hands up if you’re Harper!

We don’t know if this is a good idea, girl! He owns your house, he owns you!
Sources are reporting that Vivid Entertainment honcho, Steve Hirsch wants to pay off the $450,000 note on Nadya Suleman’s (aka Octo-Mom) home.
Even though she has outright refused to star in any of his “productions”, Steve feels that buying her out of foreclosure could foster a better relationship between the two of them.
Oh boy! Tough call! She certainly needs the help out of the jam, but the debt she is in now is nothing compared to what she might owe Steve for his help.

Check out the video (above) of the most enthusiastic Grandma ever to receive a video game system!
We wonder how she would have reacted if they got her a PS3.
